RINGS
OF
RECOLLECTION

Rings of Recollection was created in remembrance of our first nation’s lost sacred tree sites and to inspire our inner-city communities to reconnect with the land. Using recycled plywood that has been steam bent into organic flowing curves the design has replicated the age rings of a tree. When lit from above, the pendant will cast a shadow of rings, evoking the awe-inspiring feeling of standing beside a beautiful old towering tree.

ONE EYE

One eye is the product of a student group project that collaborated with the team at " the Edge" from QLD State library and was exhibited at the library for the Great and Grand Rumpus.

Entirely made of cardboard, One eye stood over 12ft tall with a laser eye and missile arms.  It was an absolute pleasure to see my work amongst so much other amazing art.

EL PASO

The design aimed and has succeding in being a functional space-saving bunk bed that allows the beds to be folded away to allow more space for children to play.  Other key design goals achieved include a highly sustainable, low-cost, locally sourced materials, easy-to-manufacture and assemble design that is easily transported and installed into any existing room.
Materials used include sustainably farmed 18mm marine Plywood, 3D printed open source hinges and locally sourced gas struts. The frame is manufactured using CNC Milling with careful consideration to ensure product waste is minimised.

The El Paso can be easily delivered pre-built ready to go, ordered as a flat pack assemble your self-system or can even be purchased as fabrications plans to be manufactured locally.

Uni projects Continued.
